EPIC RESEARCH NCDEX TURMERIC UPDATE OF 31 JANUARY 2018

Turmeric trading range for the day is 7094-7306.Turmeric dropped tracking weakness in spot demand as traders anticipating higher new season arrivals. However, expectations of improved physical demand for new season crop have capped some losses. Arrivals from the new turmeric crop have started in the markets of Nizamabad in Telangana and Erode in Tamil Nadu. In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 7343.35 Rupees dropped -113.8 Rupees.
