EPIC RESEARCH NCDEX JEERA UPDATE OF 31 JANUARY 2018

Jeera trading range for the day is 16055-16745. Jeera prices ended with losses on profit booking after prices gained amid increased export demand and spot demand. Jeera production in Gujarat was estimated at around 2.75 lakh tonnes last year, which is likely to touch 4.12 lakh tonnes this year. NCDEX accredited warehouses jeera stocks dropped by 33 tonnes to 10663 tonnes. In Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, jeera edged down by -155 Rupees to end at 19670 Rupees per 100 kg.
