Turmeric prices gained on short covering after prices dropped triggered by adequate stocks position on increased arrivals from producing regions.
Supplies from the new season turmeric have been lower during first 15 days of May at 30,400 t compared last year, as per data.
NCDEX accredited warehouses turmeric stocks gained by 78 tonnes to 5474 tonnes.
In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 7369.45 Rupees dropped -30.55 Rupees.
