EPIC RESEARCH NCDEX TURMERIC UPDATE OF 09 FEBRUARY 2018

Turmeric trading range for the day is 7138-7422. Turmeric prices dropped taking negative cues from the spot market on tepid demand. Further, expectation of good production of turmeric in the new season also triggered the down trend.This year, farmers planted turmeric on lower acreage as they had suffered huge losses due to bumper crop. In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 7140 Rupees dropped -46.65 Rupees.
