Cardamom trading range for the day is 1161.1-1208.9. Cardamom prices dropped amid higher arrivals at auctions held in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Spices Board will resume the e-auction of small cardamom at the Spices Park in Puttady in Idukki in February after much-needed maintenance operations. Total arrivals last week were up at 892 tonnes last week from 707 tonnes the previous week. Cardamom prices in spot market dropped by 2.10 rupees and settled at 1110.00 rupees.
