EPIC RESEARCH NCDEX TURMERIC UPDATE OF 03 NOVEMBER 2017

Turmeric trading range for the day is 7042-7194. Turmeric prices ended with gains tracking firmness in spot demand on short covering and lower arrivals. Latest reports from Erode in Tamil Nadu indicate a drastic fall in sowing in those regions due to a drought like situation this year. NCDEX accredited warehouses turmeric stocks dropped by 68 tonnes to 2328 tonnes. In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 7300 Rupees gained 7.5 Rupees.
