Menthaoil trading range for the day is 1646.9-1797.5.Mentha oil spot at Sambhal closed at 1920.40 per 1kg. Spot prices was up by Rs.3.40/-. Mentha oil dropped on profit booking after prices gained due to sharp fall in output and higher demand for domestic industries and exports. Meanwhile, export demand for mentha oil is expected to emerge from the major exporting countries. Stock positions of mentha in MCX accredited warehouses were around 8537 drums which is 192 drums less in comparison to the previous day.
