Turmeric prices ended with gains on short covering after prices dropped amid rains in Telangana and Maharashtra turmeric growing areas.
Currently, in Nizamabad turmeric stocks were estimated around 5.10 lakh bags as compared to around 7.00 lakh bags in corresponding time last year.
NCDEX accredited warehouses turmeric stocks dropped by 10 tonnes to 5538 tonnes.
In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 7490 Rupees gained 9.05 Rupees.
