Ref soyoil prices gained tracking firmness in spot demand despite of higher stockpiles of edible oil.
Stocks of edible oil in ports and pipeline are estimated at 2.338 million tons compared to 2.120 million tons a year ago.
Meanwhile, India's total demand for edible oils during 2017-18 is estimated at 2.3 million tons.
At the Indore spot market in Madhya Pradesh, soyoil was steady at 751.35 Rupees per 10 kgs.
