Jeera prices recovered on short covering after prices seen under pressure due to weakness in spot demand amid comfortable supplies.
Daily arrivals hovered around 30,000 bags, as against the expectation of 50,000 bags considering the bumper crop.
NCDEX accredited warehouses jeera stocks gained by 18 tonnes to 568 tonnes.
In Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, jeera edged down by -96.65 Rupees to end at 16020 Rupees per 100 kg.
