Turmeric trading range for the day is 7246-7490. Turmeric dropped on lack of support and fresh offerings in the wake of reports of auction by Andhra Pradesh Markfed. After waiting for nearly two months in hope of better prices, Andhra Pradesh State Co-operative Marketing Federation accepted bids for sale of 800-900 tn turmeric. Arrivals of the new crop are likely to hit markets by December-end. In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 7506.25 Rupees dropped -75.4 Rupees.
