Menthaoil trading range for the day is 1627.7-1818.7.Mentha oil spot at Sambhal closed at 1937.90 per 1kg. Spot prices was down by Rs.-50.90/-. Mentha oil dropped continuing its weak trend amid easing demand at the spot markets after prices rose on the onset of winter the seasonal demand. Looking into higher prices, the stockists and farmers who are having the stocks are liquidating in the market. This year mentha oil output is projected at 25,000-30,000 ton as against 35,000 ton in the previous year due to fall in acreage.
