Jeera trading range for the day is 20070-20510. Jeera prices gained tracking firmness in spot demand on lower arrivals and restricted supplies. Jeera stocks of 400,000 to 500,000 bags is being observed for the year 2016-17 compared to 600,000 to 800,000 bags in the same period last year. NCDEX accredited warehouses jeera stocks dropped by 576 tonnes to 5333 tonnes. In Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, jeera edged up by 13.95 Rupees to end at 19437.5 Rupees per 100 kg.
