Menthaoil trading range for the day is 419.6-419.6. Mentha oil spot at Sambhal closed at 1406.70 per 1kg. Spot prices was up by Rs.11.00/-. Mentha oil on MCX settled up driven by surging demand from consuming industries in the spot market. Total global production stood at around 48,000 tonnes, out of which India produces between 30,000-40,000 tonnes. Stock positions of mentha in MCX accredited warehouses were around 9896 drums which is 48 drums less in comparison to the previous day.
