Menthaoil trading range for the day is 1162.8-1193.8.Mentha oil spot at Sambhal closed at 1331.90 per 1kg. Spot prices was up by Rs.6.80/-. Mentha oil prices ended with losses amid sluggish demand from consuming industries in the spot market. Further, ample stock position on increased supplies from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh too weighed on mentha oil prices. Due to the increased production and usage of synthetic mentha in the recent years, demand for natural mentha has decreased.
