Jeera trading range for the day is 18720-19230. Jeera prices ended with gains on short covering after prices dropped on expectation of higher sowing area in the upcoming season. Moreover, increased deposits to the NCDEX warehouses from past few days indicate that the quality of the stocks is not impacted by floods in Rajasthan and Gujarat. NCDEX accredited warehouses jeera stocks gained by 147 tonnes to 5121 tonnes. In Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, jeera edged up by 17.75 Rupees to end at 18984.4 Rupees per 100 kg.
