EPIC RESEARCH NCDEX CARDAMOM UPDATE OF 05 MAY 2017

Cardamom trading range for the day is 1018.7-1088.7. Cardamom prices gained on squeezed supply amid good buying interest at the auctions held in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Total arrivals during the season from August 01 up to April 29, 2017 were at 16,300 tonnes and sales stood at 15,477 tonnes. Demand continued to remain stable with both upcountry dealers and exporters covering albeit not aggressively. Cardamom prices in spot market gained by 16.50 rupees and settled at 1253.30 rupees.
