EPIC RESEARCH NCDEX CARDAMOM UPDATE OF 16 MAY 2017

Cardamom trading range for the day is 1044.9-1064.9.Cardamom dropped as prices remained under pressure following reports of favourable weather condition in the producing centres of Kerala. Reports of higher monsoon rains and hopes of time onset of monsoon had sobering impact on prices. The sharp fall in prices can also be attributed to normal monsoon 2017 forecasts which were released during the middle of the week.Cardamom prices in spot market dropped by 29.50 rupees and settled at 1209.70 rupees.
