Maize trading range for the day is 1557-1619. Maize prices gained as traders are holding their stock in expectation of better margin ahead. Punjab government has urged farmers to cultivate maize instead of the water-guzzling paddy. NCDEX accredited warehouses maize stocks gained by 298 tonnes to 5595 tonnes. In Nizamabad maize spot prices gained 8.85 rupees to 1648.85 rupees per 100kgs.
