Soyabean prices dropped on profit booking after prices gained supported by expected increase in MSP and lag in soybean sowing in the country.
The area under soybean in the country was at 8.59 lakh ha as of last week, down 44.1% from a year ago, according to data.
NCDEX accredited warehouses soyabean stocks dropped by 240 tonnes to 9654 tonnes.
At the Indore spot market in top producer MP, soybean dropped -26 Rupees to 3642 Rupees per 100 kgs.
