EPIC RESEARCH NCDEX TURMERIC UPDATE OF 22 FEBRUARY 2018

Turmeric trading range for the day is 6796-7164.Turmeric prices gained on short covering after prices dropped on anticipation of new season turmeric is hitting the market.However, it is expected that as the new season arrivals picked up, there will be improvement in exports demand too.Currently supplies from the new season turmeric have been lower during first half Feb at 12,000 tonnes compared to 14,000 tonnes last year.In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 6910.7 Rupees dropped -218.45 Rupees.
