EPIC RESEARCH NCDEX CARDAMOM UPDATE OF 08 JUNE 2017

Cardamom trading range for the day is 942.6-1020.6.Cardamom prices ended with losses on profit booking after prices gained following a decline in arrivals and a sluggish start to the monsoon. Harvest is expected to begin by this month-end and growers feel that if rains don’t intensify, production will be less than anticipated. In the first eleven months (April-February) of 2016-17, about 4,565 tonnes of cardamom was exported compared to 6,051 tonnes.Cardamom prices in spot market dropped by 2.60 rupees and settled at 1186.40 rupees.
