EPIC RESEARCH NCDEX CARDAMOM UPDATE OF 22 MAY 2017

Cardamom trading range for the day is 993.7-1021.7. Cardamom prices dropped on slack demand amid increased arrivals at auctions held in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Arrivals last week moved up to 463 tonnes from 367 tonnes the previous week. At auction held by Cardamom Planters Association, Santhanpara, in Bodinayakannur 8.2 tonnes arrived and of this 6.5 tonnes were traded. Cardamom prices in spot market dropped by 18.30 rupees and settled at 1171.70 rupees.
