Turmeric trading range for the day is 6548-6696. Turmeric prices gained on anticipation of rising physical as well as export demand at the spot market. However upside seen limited as new season turmeric crop has now entered into the markets in South India. Turmeric output is seen higher at 7 million bags thanks to higher sowing and favorable weather conditions. In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 7312.5 rupees dropped -26.55 rupees.
